Fry Metals' Grade 2 Babbitt Ingot is the highest quality, lowest drossing material available for re-surfacing Babbitt Bearings. Grade 2 (ASTM B23) contains 89%Tin /7.5%Antimony /3.5%Copper and is lead-free. This product comes in Fry's Style 44 ingot weighing approx. 6 lbs per ingot. Use our companion product Johnson's E-127 Tinning paste in 4 lb. jars for pre-tinning cast iron bearing shells prior to applying Babbitt.
