When you are looking for a new solder pot, there are a lot of choices.  

You might want a medium-sized solder pot, a smaller one or even a digital solder pot.

And that's why we came up with our 4 most popular solder pots (in no particular order) to help you choose.

OUR MOST POPULAR MEDIUM SOLDER POT

Esico 71T Solder Pot, 3-1/8" dia x 4" deep, 1000W with Adjustable Thermostat

This deeper than normal solder pot is designed for tinning and soldering longer components. It holds up to 8.5 lbs of leaded solder or 7 lbs of lead-free solder

This pot can be filled with any kind of solder, Tin/Lead or Lead-Free. A special coated crucible is available at higher prices for frequent alloy changes. The Esico Solder Pot with a temperature control requires 1000W on 110/120V. The 71T pot is mounted in a dross sand tray.

Esico P2000 Model 20 High-Temperature Solder Pot, 2" diameter

With a 1200°F maximum temperature, this pot is widely used by transformer manufacturers to strip and tin magnet wire.  Holds just 1.25 lbs of solder.

 This melting pot measures 2" inside diameter by 1-1/2" deep and holds approx. 1-1/4 lbs. of solder. This pot can be filled with any kind of solder, Tin/Lead or Lead-Free. A special coated crucible is available at higher prices for frequent alloy changes. The Esico-Triton Solder Pot requires 250W of 110/120V power.

Esico PD24 Digital Solder Pot, 2" diameter, Leaded or Lead-Free

 If your production processes must meet ISO or AS9100, then you’ll need Digital soldering tools.

This solder pot is the most popular for critical tinning and soldering applications where a digital readout is required for Q.C.

 

 The PD24 has an 1100F maximum temperature. The melting pot measures 2" inside diameter by 1-1/2" deep and holds approx. 1-1/4 lbs. of solder. This digital solder pot can be filled with any kind of solder, Tin/Lead or Lead-Free. A special coated crucible is available at higher prices for frequent alloy changes. The Esico PD24 Solder Pot requires 250W of 110/120V power.

For soldering large, bulky parts this is our most popular model.  Holds up to 50 lbs of leaded or 40 lbs of lead-free solder.

Waage Electric MP40A-6-1 Solder Pot, 6" Dia x 6" Deep

For soldering large, bulky parts this is our most popular model.  Holds up to 50 lbs of leaded or 40 lbs of lead-free solder.

 

 

 

The electric solder pot has 1350 watts and a dial thermostat with a temperature range of 200°F - 850°F maximum. This pot holds up to 50 lbs of tin/lead solder and 40 lbs of lead-free solder.  MP40A solder pot is stocked in 110/120 volts but is also available with 3-4 weeks lead-time in 220/240 volts for usage outside of North America.  Contact us to order this pot in 220/240 volts.
