What will be accepted for recycling?

Dross (pot skimming scraps): Stellar will provide customer-friendly and industry-complaint buckets. Included labels and shipping documents keep solder dross, scrap solder paste, and various other solder scrap materials from being cross contaminated in order to maximize returns. Silver and tin adds significant value.

Waste: Stellar offers 55-gallon barrels. Accepted only along with dross pick-up.

• Expired wires
• Wipes (solder paste residue)
• Many other metals and materials can be recycled--please inquire for your specific needs

E-Waste (electronics of no monetary value): Accepted only along with dross pick-up, and maximum poundage for pick-up.

How will the items be recycled?

There is minimum dross poundage required to schedule a pick-up. (Any less may forfeit cash back... but you're still an environmental enthusiast and that's stellar in our book!) There are no minimum waste or E-waste poundage required, and are a courtesy pick-up only with dross. Stellar operates with an ISO-certified and EPA-approved transportation company and facility for safe recycling.

When solder dross, scrap solder paste and various other solder scrap is received, the customer gets an acknowledgement of receipt, a settlement report, a Certificate of Recycling and payment for the received material. It takes up to 90 days for the process of buy back to be completed.
