Maximize Your Returns: Hassle-Free Dross Recycling and Compliance Support in California

When you’re deep in the daily grind of keeping your production line running smoothly, the last thing you need is extra hassle or, worse, penalties for non-compliance. That’s where our Dross Pickup and Recycling service comes in—an easy, cost-effective solution that does more than just clear out your solder waste.

Why Bother with Solder Dross Recycling?

Let’s face it, dealing with solder dross is a necessary but often neglected task. It can pile up before you know it, and if you’re not careful, you could find yourself facing fines or even production shutdowns due to California’s strict environmental regulations. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Our service is designed to keep your operations running smoothly while also putting a little extra cash in your pocket.

How It Works: Simple, Straightforward, and Stress-Free

Step 1: Check Your Dross
Got 4-5 standard pails of solder dross that needs recycling? More? You’re in the right place. That’s about 250 lbs., and it’s the magic number for us to take it off your hands at no extra cost. If you’re a bit under, no worries—we can still help, though a small fee may apply.

Step 2: Give Us the Details
Ready to get started? Just click below and let us know what’s in your dross. Is it leaded, lead-free, or a mix? How many pails are you sitting on? We’ll use this info to give you a ballpark estimate and get the process rolling.

Step 3: Lock It In
Once we’ve got all the details, we’ll schedule your pickup. It’s that simple. You sit back and relax while we handle the heavy lifting.

Step 4: Wait Patiently
We’ll process your dross and, in about 3-4 months, you could see a payout. Just enough time to decide how you’ll spend that extra cash!

Beyond Dross: E-Waste and Compliance, Covered

Hitting the 250 lb. mark does more than just open up the possibility of some extra money; it also means we can take care of your e-waste at the same time. And let’s not forget about compliance—staying within your state's environmental regulations is critical. Depending on how much hazardous waste you generate, here is an example of what you need to know if you're in CA.

  • Very Small Quantity Generators (VSQG) can store hazardous waste onsite for up to 90 days if they exceed 1 kg of acute hazardous waste or 100 kg of spill residues. They must keep their stockpile under 6,000 kg at any time.

  • Small Quantity Generators (SQG) get a bit more time—up to 180 days (or 270 days if transporting over 200 miles)—but still must stay under the 6,000 kg limit.

  • Large Quantity Generators (LQG) have a stricter 90-day storage limit and are required to have emergency procedures and trained personnel in place.

Why This Matters: Keeping Your Operations Running Smoothly

Our service isn’t just about solder dross recycling; it’s about ensuring your production line stays operational, avoiding costly penalties or shutdowns. By letting us manage your dross and e-waste, you can stay focused on what you do best while we help keep your operations compliant and your workspace clear.
