Alpha Metals' EF-6850HF Flux is a high-reliability alcohol-based No-Clean wave soldering flux for both tin/lead and Lead-Free assemblies. EF-6850HF contains a unique activator package for soldering thicker, high-density PCBs with superior hole-fill and cosmetics . EF-6850HF can be applied by foam or spray methods. IPC J-STD-004 Class ROL0. EF-6850HF has a solids content of 4.0% with an Acid Number of 21.47 and contains a small amount of resin leaving only a low level of non-tacky residue after soldering. This item is a 5 gallon pail.  Alpha item #154917-0005.

  • Designed for Chip Wave Soldering or Selective Soldering of thicker, high-density PCBs
  • Contact Time in the Solder (chip wave) = 3 - 6 seconds
  • Tack-free residue yields good solder joint cosmetics
  • IPC J-STD-004A rated RO-L0, Halide-Free
  • Solids Content = 4.0%, Acid Number = 21.47
  • Apply by Spray or Foam
  • Recommended Thinner = Alpha NC-T or 425 
  • 5 Gallon Pail size
